Madonna: Into the Groove

"Into the Groove," by Madonna, is from Madonna's first major feature film, Desperately Seeking Susan. The song became one of Madonnna's signature hits. The song is principally about dancing and mentions about a boy getting off his feet "to prove his love". In the video, you can see Madonna's fashion choices, which can be compared to the fashion that is "in" today (leggings with skirt, sneakers, etc.). The sonic markers in the song are the keyboard, electric guitar, and drums, which is typical for 80s pop music.
