"Hungry Eyes," was featured in the film Dirty Dancing and peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts in 1988. The soundtrack became a huge commercial success in the USA. It spent 18 weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 album sales charts and went platinum eleven times. The film Dirty dancing became a legacy and various images and line from the film have worked their way into pop culture. Johnny Castle's line "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" has been sused in song lyrics, and was the title of an episode of the TV series Veronica Mars.
